I wouldn’t really recommend doing it on your own though.

Would it be considered normal for a woman to go to the bar and drink alone, or join a random group of smashed alcoholics and karaoke?? I can’t imagine any of this being safe for a woman.
And really, do you see many japanese girls drinking?
