Inexplicable Name for a Family Restaurant
I spotted this inappropriately titled family restaurant in the amusement park, Hakkejima Sea Paradise. It brought a smile to my face that someone had the bright idea of calling a kid-friendly hamburger-and-ice-cream-sundae shop, “Booze Cafe”. I can only assume the proprietor had been hitting the booze himself when he came up with the name.

Interesting indeed!
It’s like the sign I saw, “Pride and Prejuice” for “Pride and Prejudice” in Shizuoka, or even worse, a bar called “Labia” in Shimizu!
Thanks for the links!
I will link to your site today!

True!
An enormous two-meter blue neon sign you can see miles away!

Ok … what’s Labia?
Anyway Booze Cafe? wouldn’t you want to rush in? LMAO

I did rush in, but it was full of kids eating ice-cream. Labia is a naughty part of a woman’s body!

Well, we a great rough house called “Our Boozer” here in Shizuoka!
Simaldeff, labia in French is levres (celles du vagin!)

“Our Boozer” is a good name. There’s another place near Yokohama called “Boozee.”
