Beer for Depressed Penguins

Below is an old TV advertisement for canned Suntory Beer. It’s cloyingly sentimental and features a lovelorn penguin, which is more likely to make me want to drink arsenic than beer, but it was apparently popular in the eighties.

    Yeah, I guess it’s nice to see some animation that’s hand-painted, not made by computers for a change.
