It’s time for another celebratory feast of weirdos! On the weekend of November 17th and 18th, Design Festa returns. Twice a year, Tokyo Big Site in Odaiba opens it’s doors to amateur artists, designers and musicians, who use the vast venue to dazzle the world with their talents (or lack thereof.)

It’s fun to go along and marvel at the biggest gathering of eccentric arty-farties in Tokyo. For a taster, look below at some snaps I took at previous events.

LOL… The blue duo!!
Are there any normal people in Japan?
To be honest, I think I’m the biggest weirdo of all. I seek this stuff out!
The first blue dude … is that a crotch mounted water bong?
It looks like it- unless he’s drinking his own piss.
Slightly off the subject perhaps, but a plea for you to consider the ethics of purchasing things like designer clothes. Do try and think about, for example, the materials the item is made from, the human rights of the employees where they’re made and the green credentials of retailers. And try to recycle rather than discarding. Thanks!!!!
