Pink Beer for Pink Kittens.

Yikes, here’s a creepy ad from 1984. What could possibly be worse than pink beer? Why, dyeing kittens pink to advertise it, of course.
I have no idea who the hell they’re trying to market this concoction to. Disturbed children, perhaps? It looks like something “The Abominable Dr Phibes” might drink.
Watch out for the laughably unrealistic kittens playing the piano at the end of the commercial.

If I remember well, there is a cassis beer made in Belgium, and it did look more pink than anything else. Some people back in France, my home country, mix their beer with grenadine, but that’s more red than pink. I wonder what beer topped with strawberry ice-cream would look like on a hot day….
Why do I have the impression that everything turns pink through your eyes, Roaf? LOL
Newcomers to Japan might be interested to know what the colour pink is usually associated with!

Ok that looked totally gross…pink, green and purple beer. It looks like a halloween drink…bleh!

Pink beer does sound disgusting although I think green beer on St. Patrick’s Day sounds pretty gross also.

They’d really do anything to sell us bad quality-left-over-beer.
Don’t japaneses know that the only thing you need to sell all the beer you want is to organize a Super Bowl?

It’d be funny if people had to drink pink beer at the Super Bowl, or on St. Patrick’s Day.

Actually, I’ve had a few good red beers.

Mixed all the colored beer together and you’ll get brown beer. :)

That’s a genius idea. Especially when the pink and green beer was probably soon reduced to half price.
