The previous owner, Danone, concentrated Benelux production in Herentals, Belgium where its cookie factory spits out 85000 ton cookies/biscuits/graneries a year!). You can buy the Pocky sticks in Belgium (and maybe elsewhere) under the name…Mikado! :-)

Else from that, I know this was a boring biscuit-dry contribution. (I don’t work for Kraft, nor do I own shares. I just used to drive on the highway past the factory once in a while on the way to my parents. The smell from the factory (which has mostly gone now) made me feel hungry :-) Hmmm, cookie nostalgia (for Belgians out there, anyone remember De Beuckelaer?).
